Meet 6yr old, Mara. A 1st grader at Nelda Mundy Elementary School. Each year, she picks another cause to fundraise for. Last year she raised funds to purchase blankets and when she saw those who may be in need she’d ask them ‘would you like a blanket?’This year she chose a backpack drive. Mara started raising funds 2 months ago to prepare for the start of school so that more kids could have backpacks and be ready for a new school year.
